  He married Frances Ann Reber, daughter of Oscar Frederick Reber and Sarah M. Jaeschke, February 7, 1955, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and had five children:

  Clarence H. Habeck died March 23, 1990, aged 53 years, and Frances A. Reber Habeck died August 13, 2016, aged 78 years, in Aberdeen, South Dakota and are interred at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.

Clarence H. Habeck

The funeral service for Clarence H. “PunkyHabeck, 53, of rural Aberdeen, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 214 Seventh Ave. S.W. The Rev. Ronald H. Laue will officiate.

  Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery with Gates Funeral Home, 320 Sixth Ave. S.E., in charge of arrangements. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. The family is requesting to meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

  He died at his home on Friday, March 23, 1990, in Aberdeen.

  Clarence Henry Habeck was born April 19, 1936, at Aberdeen to Julius and Marguerite (Price) Habeck. He graduated from Aberdeen Central High School. He was a farmer in the Aberdeen area all his life.

  He married Frances Reber on February 7, 1955, at Aberdeen.

  He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

  Survivors include his wife of Aberdeen; three daughters, Sharon Neal, Susan Kingery and Shirley Habeck, all of Aberdeen; two sons, Clarence Habeck and Raymond Habeck, both of Aberdeen; one sister, Irene McConico of Buffalo, Minnesota; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

  Organist will be El Schamber with a solo by David Sueltz. Ushers will be Mike Felix and Charles Kirnan and casketbearers will be Paul Meyers, Ronnie Guthmiller, Glen Meidinger, Francis Price, Terry Hauge, Gary Olson, Dennis Moser and John Rydberg. Aberdeen American News, Mar. 25, 1990.

Frances A. Reber Habeck

December 20, 1937 ~ August 13, 2016

Funeral services for Frances Ann Habeck, 78, Aberdeen, SD, will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Aberdeen. Pastors Samuel Bobby and Josiah Fitch officiating. Burial at Riverside Memorial Park, Aberdeen. Frances died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Aberdeen Health & Rehab.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 with a prayer service at 7:00 at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street.
  Frances Ann Reber was born on December 20, 1937, at Aberdeen, SD, to Oscar and Sarah (Jaeschke) Reber. She grew up on a farm near Groton, SD, where she attended a country school. She then attended Aberdeen Central High School. On February 7, 1955 she married Clarence Habeck at Aberdeen. They made their home on a farm near Aberdeen, where she worked side by side with her husband milking cows and growing crops, all while raising their five children. Clarence died on March 23, 1990 in Aberdeen. Frances continued milking after his death. After retiring from farming she worked at Walmart for seven years.
  Frances was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She loved baking, gardening, puzzles, crafts, sewing and mowing the lawn with her John Deere. She enjoyed taking care of animals. She also liked playing cards, traveling, especially to the Black Hills, and playing the accordion and organ. She was a very unselfish person, always putting her family and friends first. Frances will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
  Grateful for having shared Frances’ life are her children: Sharon (Rick) Neal, Clarence (Lori) Habeck, Susan Habeck, and Shirley (Darryl) Hanisch; daughter-in-law, Kim Habeck; grandchildren: Ryan (Abby) Neal, Jeff (Megan) Neal, Jessica (Peter), Matthew, Jared, Kylee, Tyler, Jesse, Lance (Lindsay), Sadie, Maggie, Emily, Justin and Jack Habeck and Courtney Hanisch; great-grandchildren: Reed, Cole, Lily, Tate, Aleksander, Zoie Jane, Addison, Brooklyn, Paisley, Hannah, Dawson, Hayden, Keynna, Kira and Alysiam; and sisters: Irene Gunderson and Janice (Jim) Fulker.
  She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Habeck; son, Raymond Habeck; parents, Oscar and Sarah Reber; and brother, Wesley Reber.

 

Raymond L. Habeck

August 6, 1958 ~ February 19, 2009

The funeral service for Raymond Habeck, 50, of Aberdeen will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Hyle Anderson officiating.

  Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Wednesday at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St.

  Raymond died Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at his home.

  Raymond Habeck was born August 6, 1958, in Ipswich to Clarence and Frances (Reber) Habeck. He attended school in Aberdeen, graduating from Aberdeen Central High School with the class of 1976. He then farmed for a few years.

  On August 27, 1982, Raymond married Kimberly Lipp in Aberdeen. In 1982, he started Habeck Radiator, which he owned and operated until the time of his death.

  Raymond was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the races at the Brown County Speedway, fishing, and hunting. Raymond loved watching his son's activities.

  Grateful for having shared Raymond’s life are his wife, Kim Habeck, of Aberdeen; mother, Frances Habeck of Aberdeen; sons: Tyler, Jesse and Lance Habeck, all of Aberdeen; brother, Clarence (Lori) Habeck of Aberdeen; sisters: Sharon (Rick) Neal of Aberdeen, Susan Habeck of Ellendale, Minn., and Shirley (Darryl) Hanisch of Aberdeen.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence.

 Honorary pallbearers will be the CHS wrestling team, Aberdeen Thunder Special Olympics, Dr. Conklin and staff, and Lucille Gross.
