She married Leo Vernon Thomas, son of Albert Thomas and Louise Bowden, June 17, 1942, in Minneapolis, Minnesota and had one child:

Veddice M. Price Thomas died November 5, 2002, aged 80 years, and Leo V. Thomas died May 27, 2000, aged 82 years in Tacoma, Washington and are interred at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

Veddice Maxine Thomas died November 5, 2002. Veddice is reunited with her deceased husband Leo Thomas. She was a devoted mother to son Butch, grandchildren John, William, and Carlie and great grandchild Joshua Kennedy. Born January 4, 1922 in Aberdeen, South Dakota and residing in Tacoma, Washington. Veddice was full of life and brought much happiness to her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, Garden Chapel, Thursday Nov. 14th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. Leo V. Thomas

July 20, 1917 ~ May 27, 2000

Leo Vernon Thomas, 82, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on May 27, 2000, at his home. He was born on July 20, 1917 to Albert and Louise Thomas in Fresno, California.

He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during World War II on the Isle of Japan. He was retired having worked as a welder for the J. M. Martinac Shipbuilding Co. for many years.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Veddice M. Thomas at the family home; son, Leo W. Thomas; grandsons, John and William Thomas; granddaughter, Carlie L. Kennedy, and great grandson, Joshua T. Kennedy. Father will be deeply missed and loved by all.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2000 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Mountain View Garden Chapel. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Arrange-ments by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252. Tacoma News Tribune, May 29, 2000.
