10.2.5.2. Second child of James A. Price and Pearl Smith, Shirlee Noreen Price, was born October 7, 1935, in Taber, Alberta.

She married Bjarne Julius Mikalson, son of Ingbert Antoni Mikalson and Olivia Andrea Ellefson, December 31, 1955, in Taber, Alberta, and had four children:

Shirlee N. Price Mikalson died May 9, 2009 aged 73 years in Taber, Alberta and Bjarne J. Mikalson died March 14, 1986, aged 66 years, in Enchant, Alberta.

Shirlee N. Price Mikalson

Shirlee Noreen Mikalson passed away in Taber on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the age of 73 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, May 15, 2009 between 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Graveside Service will be held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Carl Bogda officiating. At the family’s request, you are encouraged to be comfortable wearing casual clothing to the Graveside Service. Lethbridge Herald, May 13, 2009.

Bjarne J. Mikalson

May 18, 1919 ~ March 14, 1986

Mr. Bjarne Julius Mikalson passed away on Friday, March 14, 1986 at the age of 66 years.

Bjarne was born on the family farm near Enchant and where he farmed and resided until the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife Shirley of Lethbridge; a daughter Geri of Lethbridge; two sons, Ken of Olds and Tim of Lethbridge, three sisters, Myrtle MacKenzie of Vauxhall, Ivy Springhetti of Calgary and Margit (Jack) Burns of Pincher Creek; three brothers, Birger (Regina) of Enchant, Alf of Fort Macleod and Mikal of Calgary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Ingbert and Olivia, a son Randall James and two brothers Idar and Emil.

The funeral service will be held in the Ibbestad Lutheran Church in Enchant on Tuesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Randall Charlton officiating. Interment to follow in the Ibbestad Cemetery.

Randall J. Mikalson

October 2, 1956 ~ November 12, 1957

Randall James Mikalson, thirteen month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bjarne Mikalson of Vauxhall, passed away in the Taber Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 15, 1957 at 1 p.m., in Taber Lutheran Church. Rev. Sidney Nelson officiated, with Humphries Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Interment followed in Taber Memorial Gardens. Taber Times, Nov. 21, 1957.

Timothy K. Mikalson

October 6, 1960 ~ November 16, 2009

Timothy Kirk Mikalson of Enchant, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the age of 49 years.

He is survived by his brother Ken Mikalson of Lethbridge; sister Geri (Rick) Nagy of Seven Persons; nephews Mitchel Nagy, Justin (Kristen) Nagy; great niece Trinity Rose Nagy.

He was predeceased by his mother Shirlee and brother Randall

Tim was born on October 6, 1960 in Taber to Shirlee and Bjarne Mikalson. He was raised and educated in Enchant. Following school Tim had various jobs in the city, however he eventually returned to his first passion of farming which he continued to do until his passing.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, November 22, 2009 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
