Robert Adams  (1862 ~ 1947)

 

10.4. Fourth child of McBride Adams and Martha McIntyre, Robert Adams, was born June 18, 1862, in Baltimore, Hamilton Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario.

 

  Robert Adams died November 29, 1947, in Roseneath, Ontario, aged 83 years and is interred at Bowmanville Cemetery.

Robert Adams

Roseneath. The funeral of the late Robert Adams was held, Tuesday afternoon from the residence of his brother William Adams, Roseneath, where he died after a long illness.

  He was in his 84th year, was born near Baltimore a son of the late McBride Adams who emigrated from Ireland with his wife Martha McIntyre. He formerly lived at Norham, coming to live with his brother William in August.

  Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Maria Linton of Hastings and one brother William Adams of Roseneath.

  The service was conducted by Rev. R. C. White, United Church, Roseneath. Interment was made at Bowmanville Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Gordon Adams, Milton Adams, Kenneth Adams all of Pontypool, Leonard Bullied of Toronto, J. Adams of Bowmanville and Kyle Brown of Roseneath. Cobourg Sentinel-Star, Dec. 11, 1947.
