William Adams  (1863 ~ 1950)

 

10.5. Fifth child of McBride Adams and Martha McIntyre, William Adams, was born September 14, 1863, Baltimore, Hamilton Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario. 

  He married (1) Margaret Adams, daughter of Robert Adams and Jane Patterson, April 17, 1889, in Orono, Clarke Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.

  He married (2) Martha Porter McCullough, daughter of John Porter and Jane Hamilton, February 27, 1924, in Orono, Ontario.     

 

  William Adams died November 21, 1950, aged 87 years, in Roseneath, Ontario and is interred at Pontypool Cemetery.

William Adams

Services for the late William Adams was held at his late residence, Roseneath, November 23, 1950, conducted by Rev. R. C. White.

  His death occurred after a lengthy illness [November 21, 1950] when he was cared for by his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Adams.

  Deceased was born at Baltimore, September 14, 1862, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. McBride Adams. His first wife was the former Margaret Adams and his second, Martha McCullough. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Sam Patterson, Hastings.

  Pallbearers were Fred Broadworth, Fred Murphy, George Ivatt, Wellington Dowler, James Gray and Kyle Brown.

  Interment was in Pontypool Cemetery. Cobourg Sentinel-Star, Nov. 30, 1950.

In Clarke Twp., January 18, 1922, Margaret Adams, beloved wife of William Adams, in her 70th year. Interred at Pontypool Cemetery. Bowmanville Statesman, Jan. 26, 1922.
