10.7.1. First child of Maria I. Adams and James D. Linton, Carrie Martha Linton, was born April 11, 1888, Roseneath, Alnwick Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario.
She married Douglas John Wilson, son of Harvey Wilson Ulyatt and Agnes Watson, April 6, 1909, Cobourg, Ontario and had four children:

C. Martha Linton Wilson died March 1, 1952, aged 63 years and Douglas J. Wilson died August 15, 1948, aged 60 years in Toronto, Ontario and are interred at Prospect Cemetery.

Martha Linton Wilson
Mrs. Douglas Wilson, Long Branch, was fatally injured when struck by a car Saturday, March 1, 1952 as she returned from work. Mrs. Wilson, nee Carrie Martha Linton, was born in Alnwick Township, 64 years ago. Following her marriage, the greater part of her life was spent near Toronto. Her husband predeceased her and she is survived by two daughters, Edith and Gertrude (Mrs. Fred Hawkes) Toronto, a son Harry, Port Credit, her aged mother now Mrs. Isabel Patterson, Hastings, four sisters, Mrs. Harvey Eddy (Lena) Roseneath; Mrs. Alfred Eddy (Eliza); Rochester; Mrs. Flossie Davis, Buffalo; Mrs. Roy Taylor (Elizabeth) Hastings; two brothers, Archie Linton, Roseneath and Sidney Linton, Hastings. Suddenly on Sunday, August 15, 1948, at the Toronto General Hospital, Douglas John Wilson, beloved husband of Carrie Linton, dear father of Gertrude (Mrs. F. Hawkes), Edith and Harry. Resting at the funeral home of A. E. Cook, Ltd., 721 Bloor St. W. (at Christie). Service in the chapel on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
