Lizzie Linton (1892 ~ 1967)
10.7.3. Third child of Maria I. Adams and James D. Linton, Lizzie Linton, was born December 2, 1892, Roseneath, Alnwick Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario.
She married Robert Roy Taylor, son of William John Taylor and Isabella Petrie, September 25, 1912, in Hastings, Percy Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario and had two children:

Lizzie Linton Taylor died August 4, 1967, aged 88 years, in Hastings, Ontario and R. Roy Taylor died April 26, 1950, aged 62 years and are interred at Trent Valley Cemetery.

At Hillsdale Nursing Home, Campbellford on Friday, August 4, 1967. Elizabeth Linton, in her 74th year, beloved wife of the late Roy Taylor, loving mother of Elmer of R.R.1, Warkworth, and Mrs. Wilbert Knight (Pearl) of Pembroke, loving sister of Mrs. Harvey Eddy of Colborne, Mrs. Eliza Ann Eddy of Los Angeles, California, Archie Linton of Roseneath and Sidney Linton of Havelock, also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Resting at the Allen Funeral Home, Warkworth after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5. Funeral service at the Chapel on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. R. T. Cathcart officiating. Interment Trent Valley Cemetery, Hastings. Peterborough Exam-iner, Aug. 4, 1967.
R. Roy Taylor
July 11, 1888 ~ April 26, 1950
The death occurred at Peterborough hospital of Roy Taylor of Percy Township on April 26, 1950 following a short illness, in his 63rd year.
He was a prominent farmer and a good neighbor. He is survived by his wife and one son, Elmer, at home, a daughter, Mrs. H. Steckenreiter of Warkworth.
A brief service for the family and close friends was held Friday from the home of his brother, Mr. William H. Taylor, Alnwick Township. Canon C. R. Spencer conducted the service. The remains were taken to St. George’s Anglican Church, Hastings, for the funeral service.
