10.7.3.2. Second child of Lizzie Linton and R. Roy Taylor, Elmer Roy Taylor, was born October 8, 1926, Hastings, Ontario. 

  He married (1) Emma Florence Ashe, daughter of George Ashe and Irene O’Brien, October 9, 1943*, in Hastings, Ontario and raised a family of seven children:

  He married (2) Norma Jane Scriver Reynolds, daughter of William Ernest Scriver and Alice Maude Gunn, October 6, 1978, in Campbellford, Ontario.

 

  Elmer R. Taylor died August 12, 2005, aged 79 years, in Campbellford, Ontario and Emma F. Ashe Taylor died August 10, 1996, aged 70 years in Peterborough, Ontario.

Elmer R. Taylor

At Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 12, 2005, Elmer Roy Taylor in his 79th year. Son of the late Robert (Roy) Taylor and Elizabeth Linton. Beloved husband of Norma (Scriver) Taylor (Reynolds) of Campbellford. Loving father of Sharon Anne Brandon of St. Thomas, Marion and Bob Shearer, Eldon Taylor all of Campbellford, Bill Taylor of Kingston, Marlene and Paul Hicks of Cobourg, Robert Taylor of Toronto, Norma and Ted Palmateer of Port Hope. Step-father of Jim and Jeananne Reynolds, Pete and Laurie Reynolds, Dave and Valerie Reynolds, Dale and Donna Reynolds all of Peterborough, Dan and Phyllis Reynolds of Westwood, Aletha Reynolds and Tom O’Donnell of Campbellford, Sheri Landry of Apsley, Shelley Mahoney and Bruce Bradbury of Colborne. Lovingly remembered by 36 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Brother of the late Pearl Knight. Remembered by nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Weaver Family Funeral Home, Campbellford from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday.  Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 17 at 2 p.m. Rev. Dear mother of Sharon Ann Brandon of Tottenham, Marion and Bob Shearer, Eldon Taylor, all of Campbellford, Bill Taylor of Kingston, Marlene and Paul Hicks of Cobourg, Robert Taylor of Toronto, Norma and Ted Palmateer of Port Hope. Loving grandmother of Tammy, Tracy, Paul, Terry and great grandmother of Christian, Taiya, Evan, Jamie and Gregory. Dear sister of George and Janice Ash of Burlington, Roy and Joyce Ash of Kingston, Gertrude Burnett of Strathroy.
