Arnold Austin Linton (1929 ~ 1971)
10.7.6.2. Second child of Archie Linton and M. Viola Mason, Arnold Austin Linton, was born April 25, 1929, in Roseneath, Alnwick Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario.
He married Marjorie Sarah Hogg, daughter of Beecher Hogg and Elsie Vine, June 10, 1955, in Roseneath, Ontario and had two children:

Arnold A. Linton died November 13, 1971, aged 42 years, in Campbellford, Ontario, and M. Sarah Hogg Linton died January 6, 1968, aged 32 years in Hastings, Ontario and are interred at Merrill’s Cemetery.

Arnold A. Linton
Funeral services were held at McMillan Funeral Home, Roseneath, Ont., for Arnold Linton, 42, who passed away suddenly at Campbellford, November 13, 1971.
Predeceased by his wife, Mr. Linton is survived by two sons, Fred, 14 and Ken, 10; his parents, Archie and Viola Linton, R.R.1, Roseneath, and three brothers, James of Cobourg, Leo and Glenford, both of R.R.1, Roseneath.
Dr. R. B. Green was officiating clergyman at the service, November 16, and pallbearers were Gordon Adams, Fred Murphy, James Gray, Charlie Hogg, Clifford and Melville Broadworth.
Flower bearers were Jack Webb, Jim Timlin, Ray Brown and Flex McMillan. Interment was in Merrill’s Cemetery, Roseneath. Cobourg Sentinel-Star, Nov. 24, 1971.
Marjorie S. Hogg Linton
1936 ~ January 6, 1968
The funeral of Mrs. Arnold Linton, 32, who was killed in a traffic accident on Highway 45, near Hastings, January 6, 1968 was held at Roseneath. Marjorie Sarah Hogg, only child of the late Beecher Hogg and Elsie Vine, was born at Roseneath. After her mother’s death she lived for some years with Miss Winnifred Brown and brothers Erwin and Roy Brown here. Following her marriage in 1955, they lived for some time at Roseneath, then in Hastings area. Surviving are her husband and sons, Frederick, 10, and Kenneth, 6. Cobourg Sentinel-Star, Apr. 3, 1968.

November 28, 1957 ~ July 4, 2005
On July 4, 2005, Frederick Arnold Linton, aged 47 years, passed away in Winnipeg. He was the son of the late Arnold and Marjorie (Hogg) Linton. He is survived by his brother Kenneth Linton; aunts and uncles, Glenford and Doris Linton of Roseneath, Leo and Lois Linton of Hastings, Lois and the late James Linton of Cobourg. He is also remembered by several cousins. Funeral service 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Committal will follow in Roseneath, ON at a later date.
