Sarah Catherine Wright  (1900 ~ 1984)

 

2.2.1.8. Eighth child of Annie Ranson and William H. Wright, Sarah Catherine “Sadie” Wright, was born July 18, 1900, in Tosorontio Twp., Simcoe Co., Ontario. 

  She married William Rutledge Leetch, son of Matthew Leetch and Sarah Ann Greene, December 22, 1923, in Toronto, Ontario and had three children:

 

  • (2.2.1.8.1)  William Keith  (1926 ~ 2009) 

  • (2.2.1.8.2)  Harold Douglas  (1929 ~ 1997) 

  • (2.2.1.8.3)  Judith Anne  (1947 ~ 2019)    

 

  Sarah C. Wright Leetch died January 11, 1984, aged 83 years and William R. Leetch died September 13, 1984, aged 88 years in Alliston, Ontario and are interred at Alliston Union Cemetery.

Dearest grand-mother of Gregory and Jason Baguley and loved mother-in-law of Edward Baguley, dear sister of Mary McMulkin, Mrs. May Cartwright, Mrs. Margaret Dermott, Joseph and Sid Wright. Rested at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home, Alliston, after 7 p.m. on Thursday for complete service in the Chapel on Saturday, January 14 at 1:30 p.m. Spring interment Alliston Union Cemetery. Alliston Herald, Jan. 18, 1984.

 

William R. Leetch

August 8, 1897 ~ September 13, 1984

William Rutledge Leetch passed away at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Thursday, September 13, 1984. William Leetch in his 89th year, husband of the late Sadie Wright and dear father of Keith and Harold Leetch both of Thornton and Mrs. Judith Baguley, Bond Head. Loved grandfather of Gregory and Jason Baguley, dearest father-in-law of Edward Baguley, dearest brother of Dot (Mrs. Bert Hibbard), Toronto, and predeceased by Agnes, Mary, Gladys and Jennie. Rested at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home for services in the Chapel on Saturday, September 15, 1984 at 2 p.m.  Interment Alliston Union Cemetery. Alliston Herald, Sept. 19, 1984.

Peacefully, at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Sunday, December 13, 2009. Keith Leetch, former resident of Essa Township, and longtime resident of Simcoe Manor, Beeton, in his 84th year. Loving son of the late Bill and Sadie Leetch. Dear brother of Judy (late Ted Baguley) and sadly missed by his nephews Greg and Jason. Pre-deceased by his brother Harold. A private family graveside service was held in Alliston Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477. June 20, 1929 ~ July 18, 1997

Suddenly at Simcoe Manor, Beeton, on Friday, July 18, 1997. Harold Douglas Leetch, beloved son of the late William and Sarah Leetch. Loving brother of Keith, of Simcoe Manor, and Judy Baguley of Bond Head. Dear brother in law of the late Ted Baguley. Sadly missed by his nephews; Jason Baguley of Bond Head and Gregory and his partner Laurie of Brampton. Fondly remembered by his great niece and nephew; Amanda and Shawn. Funeral service was held in the chapel of Simcoe Manor, Beeton, on Sunday, July 20th at 3 p.m., followed by private family interment in Alliston Union Cemetery. Donations, in Harold’s memory, to the Simcoe Manor, Beeton, would be appreciated by the family. Beeton Record Sentinel and Times, July 23, 1997.
