Mary Isabel Wright  (1901 ~ 1994)

 

2.2.1.9. Ninth child of Annie Ranson and William H. Wright, Mary Isabel Wright, was born August 20, 1901, in Tosorontio Twp., Simcoe Co., Ontario. 

  She married William Francis Cecil McMulkin, son of Francis McMulkin and Ann Moore, on March 29, 1924, in Toronto, Ontario and had two children:

 

  • (2.2.1.9.1)  Marion Isabel  (1925 ~ 2017) 

  • (2.2.1.9.2)  Dorothy Velma  (1931 ~ 2015) 

 

  Mary I. Wright McMulkin died January 27, 1994, aged 91 years and W. F. Cecil McMulkin died February 3, 1991, aged 91 years in Barrie, Ontario and are interred at Alliston Union Cemetery.

Wright—McMulkin

A quiet but pretty wedding took place Saturday, March 29, 1924, at Toronto, when Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Wright of Alliston, was united in marriage to Mr. Cecil Francis McMulkin, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank McMulkin of Barrie. The Rev. G. M. Dunn officiated. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. R. J. Anderson, 222 Wallace Ave. After a short honeymoon the happy couple will reside in Barrie. At the I.O.O.F. Senior Citizen Home, Barrie on Thursday, January 27, 1994, Mary Isobel Wright in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late W. F. Cecil McMulkin. Dear mother of Dorothy (Mrs Jim Morrow) of Oakville and Marion (Mrs. Lawrence Raynor) of Windsor. Dear grandmother of Nancy, Jerry, Gary, Gregory and Randy and four great grand-children. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, Clapperton & Worsley Sts. Barrie on Saturday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Complete service in the chapel on Sunday, January 30th at 2:30 p.m. Spring interment Alliston Union Cemetery. Barrie Examiner, Jan. 29, 1994.

At the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Sunday, February 3, 1991. Cecil (Mac) McMulkin (in his 92nd year) of Barrie. Beloved husband of Mary Isobel Wright. Dear father of Marion (Mrs. Lawrence Raynor) of Windsor and Dorothy (Mrs. Jim Morrow) of Mississauga. Dear grandfather of five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
