2.2.4. Fourth child of Thomas Ranson and Sarah A. Mortimer, Catherine Ranson, was born December 11, 1876, in Lutterworth Twp., Haliburton Co., Ontario.  

 

  Catherine Ranson died July 8, 1957, aged 80 years, in Minden, Ontario and is interred at Minden Village Cemetery.

In the Red Cross Hospital, Minden, Ont., July 8, 1957, Catherine Ranson in her 81st year, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ranson, beloved sister of Sarah Ranson, Minden, Ont., Annie (Mrs. William Wright), Alliston, Ont., and Thomas Ranson of Grande Prairie, Alberta, dear aunt of Irene Ranson, Minden and Laura (Mrs. A. M. Adams), of St. Catharines, Ont. Funeral service from her late residence in Minden, on Wednesday, July 10, at 2 p.m. Interment in Minden Cemetery. Minden Echo, July ?, 1957.
