Everett Bruce Mortimer  (1921 ~ 1929)

 

2.3.9.7. Seventh child of John McBride Mortimer and Margaret Ann Campbell, Everett Bruce Mortimer, was born July 29, 1921, in Carbon, Alberta.

 

  Everett B. Mortimer died March 13, 1929, aged seven years, in Bingley, Alberta and is interred at Pinegrove Cemetery, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.

Everett B. Mortimer

The sympathy of the community goes out to Mr. & Mrs. Mortimer of Bingley, Alberta in the sad loss they have substained through the death of their little son, Everett Bruce Mortimer, aged eight years, who died March 13, 1929 from a relapse of influenza.

  A touching funeral service was held at the home on Sunday morning March 17th, the Rev. V. E. Smith officiating in the last rites.

 The casket was reverently borne by two brothers and four schoolfellows. The commital took place at Pinegrove Cemetery. “And Jesus took a child…for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.” Rocky Mountain House Mountaineer, Mar. 27, 1929.
