Francis Emerald Ranson  (1884 ~ 1955)

 

2.4.5. Fifth child of William Ranson and Elizabeth Coburn, Francis Emerald “Frank” Ranson, was born May 7, 1884, in Haliburton, Haliburton Co., Ontario.  

 

  Frank E. Ranson died September 24, 1955, aged 71 years, in North Bay, Ontario and is interred at Parklawn Cemetery.

Frank Ranson

Many residents of Lindsay and district as well as relatives and acquaintances around Minden will regret to learn of the passing of a former citizen in the person of the late Frank Ranson, whose death took place at Sudbury, following an attack of pneumonia.

  The late Frank Ranson was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ranson, who for many years resided near Minden, and on moving to Lindsay lived on Logie Street. The deceased was of a friendly sociable disposition, was always in good humor.

  Sympathy is extended to the members of the bereaven family, namely Henry Ranson, Mrs. J. G. (Margaret) Baldwin, Robert Ranson, Thomas Ranson, and Arnott Ranson.

  Interment took place in Parklawn Cemetery, Sudbury. Lindsay Watchman Warder, Oct. 12, 1955.
