Lorna Elizabeth Baldwin  (1919 ~ 1970)

 

2.4.6.1. First child of Margaret Ranson and J. George Baldwin, Lorna Elizabeth Baldwin, was born February 20, 1919, in Lindsay, Ontario.

 

  Lorna E. Baldwin died March 19, 1970, aged 51 years, in Lindsay, Ontario and is interred at Riverside Cemetery.

Lorna E. Baldwin

February 20, 1919 ~ March 19, 1970

Lorna Eizabeth Baldwin of 10 Sylvan Cres., Lindsay, died at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on March 19, 1970. She was 51 years of age.

  Born in Lindsay, she was the daughter of George and Margaret Baldwin of Lindsay. She received her education in Lindsay, having attended the Lindsay Collegiate and Baker Business College, and had been employed as a stenographer at DeNure Tours. A member of the St. Paul's Anglican Church, and ACW of St. Paul's Church, she was also a member of Kawartha Rebekah Lodge, Lindsay.

  Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother Grant Baldwin of Linsday. Two nephews, Ronald and Jeffrey Baldwin, both of Lindsay, also survive.

  The funeral was held on March 21, at 3:30 p.m. from the Mackey Funeral Home, Lindsay, with interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. Rev. David Lemon of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lindsay, and Canon Hesketh of Peterborough, conducted the service.

  The pallbearers were Gordon Graham, Phil and Kenneth Ranson, Donald Lamb, Robert Reynolds and Bruce Evans. Lindsay Post, Apr. 17, 1970.
