At the regular meeting of the Rural Hill Association, P. of I., No. 807, the following resolutions were adopted:

Whereas, Our all-wise Father has seen fit to remove from our order our beloved brother, Hugh Brodie, to that higher lodge “where sorrow comes not and where peace reigns eternal,” therefore be it. Resolved, That in the loss of our brother the lodge will miss a genial Christian worker, one ever ready to help every good work with kindly deeds and words of cheer.

Resolved, That we deeply sympathize with the bereaved family in this hour of affliction, that our charter be draped in mourning for the period of 30 days, and a memorial page inserted in the minutes of our lodge, a copy sent to the family of our deceased brother and the same published in the Jefferson County Journal. Jefferson County Journal, Sept. 26, 1905.
