----- MARRIAGE -----

Elford—McDonald

At the home of the bride’s parents, near Langdon, on Wednesday, January 17, 1894 by Rev. Peter Mitchell, of Crystal, Mr. George Elford to Miss Minnie McDonald.

The above announcement will be somewhat of a surprise to many friends of the young couple. The bride has a large circle of acquaintances in Langdon and is known as a young lady of rare attainments, while Mr. Elford is one of the foremost and enterprising business men of our town, having been a pioneer resident of this county. We confess that George stole a march on us, but hasten to join their many friends in wishing himself and charming bride a long and happy voyage on the matrimonial sea. Who’ll be the next? Langdon Courier Democrat, Jan. 18, 1894.
