Mary Louise Elford  (1873 ~ 1950)

 

4.2.3.3. Third child of William H. Elford and Mary E. Webster, Mary Louise Elford, was born July 27, 1873, in Hampton, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.  

  She married Edward Alfred Burbank, son of Edward Burbank and Ellen McElheny, April 20, 1891, in Carman, Manitoba and had four children:

  • (4.2.3.3.2)  William Elford  (1901 - 1980)    

  • (4.2.3.3.3)  Bertram  (1902 ~ )    

  • (4.2.3.3.4)  Sherman Reed  (1907 ~ 1986)    

 

  Mary L. Elford Burbank died April 13, 1950, aged 77 years, in Vancouver, British Columbia and Edward A. Burbank died c. 1918, aged 68 years in Birtle, Manitoba.

BURBANK—April 13, 1950, Mary Louise, widow of Edward Alfred Burbank, 4015 Puget Drive, in her 77th year. Survived by two sons: William E., Vancouver, and Sherman R., Clinton, Ontario; a daughter, Mrs. Marion B. Wolfe, Vancouver; four grandchildren; a brother, Russell Elford, and a sister, Mrs. Walter Shuttleworth of Carman, Manitoba. Funeral service in Forest Lawn Chapel, Grandview Highway at Royal Oak, Friday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m., Rev. A. Hartwell Watt officiating. Mt. Pleasant Undertaking Co., directors. Vancouver Sun, Apr. 14, 1950.
