Alvin W. Archer died June 22, 1986, aged 70 years and Edith M. Parker Archer died February 16, 1988, aged 71 years in Midland, Ontario and are interred at Wyebridge Presbyterian Cemetery.

At the Huronia District Hospital, Midland on Sunday, June 22, 1986, Alvin W. Archer beloved husband of Edith Parker of Ottawa Street, Midland in his 71st year. Dear father of Joan (Mrs. Robert Dalziel) of Midland. Dear brother of Lloyd Archer of Midland, Violet German of New Lowell. Dear grandfather of Richard Dalziel of Midland and Catherine Taylor of Scarborough. Predeceased by brother Harold. The late Mr. Alvin Archer will be resting at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday for complete funeral services in the chapel on Wednesday, June 25 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Wyebridge Presbyterian Cemetery.
