4.3.4. Fourth child of Jane Adams and Hugh Archer, Agnes Archer, was born July 6, 1880, in Tiny Twp., Simcoe Co., Ontario.

Agnes Archer died June 22, 1958, aged 77 years, in Orillia, Ontario and is interred at St. Andrew's Cemetery.

Agnes Archer

Following a short illness, Miss Agnes Archer died June 22, 1958 at the home of her niece, Mrs. D. J. Cossey, Orillia. She would have been 78 years old July 6.

Miss Archer was born in the township of Tiny, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Archer, and resided for many years there.

She is survived by one sister, Margaret, Mrs. C. R. DeNure of Orillia, and three brothers, Sam of Wyebridge, Jim of Midland and Fred of St. Catharines.

The funeral was held at Doolittle Bros. funeral home June 25. Interment was in St. Andrew’s Cemetery. Rev. Roy E. Webster of St. Paul’s United Church of which Miss Archer was a member, officiated.

Six nephews acted as pallbearers, Roy Archer of Midland, Fred Archer of Port Perry, Edwin DeNure of Peterborough, Mervin DeNure of Port Perry and Reginald DeNure of Chatham. Midland Free Press, July 4, 1958.
