Frederick Archer (1886 ~ 1962)
4.3.6. Sixth child of Jane Adams and Hugh Archer, Frederick Archer, was born May 14, 1886, in Midland, Simcoe Co., Ontario.
He married Anna Victoria Beatty, daughter of John Joseph Hilton Beatty and Ethel Victoria Nixon, January 12, 1912, in Peterborough, Ontario and had two children:

Frederick Archer died April 19, 1962, aged 75 years and Anna V. Beatty Archer died November 11, 1954, aged 68 years in St. Catharines, Ontario and are interred at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Welland, Ontario.

Mr. Frederick Archer of Midland was married at 4 p.m. on January 12, 1912, in the Knox church, Peterborough, to Miss Annie Victoria Beatty, of Midland, by the Rev. H. J. Keith, in the presence of witnesses. Peterborough Examiner, Jan. 12, 1912.

Frederick Archer
Frederick Archer, 75, died in his sleep early this morning, April 19, 1962, at the home of his son, Roy Archer, 80 Village Rd., where he made his home. Although he had been in failing health for some time, his death was unexpected.
Born in Simcoe county, Mr. Archer had lived here for 40 years. He was a stationary engineer and had been at Thompson Products, Ltd. for 15 years before his retirement seven years ago. He was a member of the Old Guard Association of that company and belonged to the Westminster United Church.
He is survived by his son Roy; his brother James, in Midland; his sister, Mrs. R. DeNure in Orillia; six grandchildren. His wife Anne died in 1954 and his son Hugh in 1957, also at Easter time.
He is at Hulse and English Funeral Home. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. St. Catharines Standard, Apr. 19, 1962.
Anna V. Beatty Archer
September 27, 1886 ~ November 11, 1954
Following an illness of some duration, the passing of Mrs. Anna Victoria Archer, wife of Frederick Archer of 51 Leeper St., occurred early this morning, November 11, 1954 at St. Catharines General Hospital in her 69th year.
The late Mrs. Archer was born in Port Hope and for a number of years resided in Midland, Ont., previous to coming to this city in 1921 where she has since made her home.
In religion, she was a member of the Westminister United Church, but her main interest in life was her home and family to whom she was greatly devoted.
She is survived by her husband and two sons: Roy Archer of St. Catharines and Hugh Archer of Toronto; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Vasey of Edmonton, Mrs. Thomas Robert of Midland; three brothers, Cecile Beatty of Los Angeles, Victor and Charles Beatty of Midland and five grandchildren.
Resting at the Butler Funeral Home, 33 Duke, where service will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements for Internment will be announced later. St. Catharines Standard, Nov. 12, 1954.
