4.3.6.1. First child of Frederick Archer and Anna V. Beatty, Frederick Hugh Archer, was born March 2, 1917, in Midland, Ontario. 

  He married Lilian Barbara “Lily” Warrener, daughter of George Kaye Warrener and Henrietta Jane Whitefield McGregor, October 31, 1938, in Toronto, Ontario and had three children:

• (4.3.6.1.2)  Adele MacGregor  (1947 ~ )

• (4.3.6.1.3)  Ronald Hugh  (1951 ~ 2013)    

 

  F. Hugh Archer died April 19, 1957, aged 40 years, in Parry Sound, Ontario and is interred at

Hugh Archer, late at 30 Oakridge Dr., Scarborough, dearly beloved husband of Lily Warrener, dear father of Adele, Ronald and the late Jean Mona Archer, beloved son of Fred and the late Annie Archer and dear brother of Roy Archer, all of St. Catharines. Resting at the Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Ave. Service on Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Cremation Toronto Crematorium. Toronto Star, Apr. 23, 1957.

At the St. Catharines General hospital, as a result of an accident on Saturday, September 7, 1940. Jean Mona MacGregor Archer, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Archer, aged nine months, nine days. Resting at the family residence, 688 Gladstone Ave., Toronto, after 10 p.m. Monday. Service Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the above address. Interment Prospect Cemetery. Toronto Star, Sept. 9, 1940.
