4.4.1.6. Sixth child of Eliza A. Souch and John Gilbert, John 'Milton' Gilbert, was born May 15, 1878, in Enniskillen, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.

  J. Milton Gilbert died March 29, 1897, aged 18 years in Bowmanville, Ontario and is interred at Hampton Union Cemetery.

GILBERT—In Bowmanville, March 29, 1897, John Milton Gilbert, fourth son of John and Eliza Gilbert, aged 18 years, 11 months. Funeral to-day at 2:30 to Hampton.

ENNISKILLEN.

  Mr. J. Milton Gilbert, son of Mr. John Gilbert, who has been ailing from consumption passed away Monday morning, just two years exactly since his sister Ella died. He was in his nineteenth year and was a general favourite among his associates. The funeral takes place to-day (Wednesday) to Hampton Cemetery. Bowmanville Statesman, Mar. 31, 1897.

Adda Almena Gilbert  (1880 ~ 1880)

4.4.1.7. Seventh child of Eliza A. Souch and John Gilbert, Adda Almena Gilbert, was born January 23, 1880, in Enniskillen, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.  

  Adda A. Gilbert died September 25, 1880, aged eight months in Enniskillen, Ontario and is interred at Hampton Union Cemetery.

On Saturday, September 25, 1880, at her father’s residence, Lot 22, Con. 7, Darlington, Adda Almena, infant daughter of Mr. John Gilbert, aged 8 months, 2 days.  

ENNISKILLEN.

FATAL ACCIDENT.—A sad accident happened to the youngest child of Mr. John Gilbert last Friday morning. As they were sitting at breakfast the baby—a fine little girl of eight months—seized hold of the tea pot filled with hot tea and upset it over her chest and back, scalding the little one so severely that she only survived her injuries about twenty four hours. The funeral on Sabbath was very largely attended. A very excellent and suitable discourse was preached by the Rev. E. E. Howard, at the M. E. Church, before proceeding to the Presbyterian Cemetery. 4.4.1.8. Eighth child of Eliza A. Souch and John Gilbert, Ella Almena Gilbert, was born May 30, 1883, in Enniskillen, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.  

  Ella A. Gilbert died March 30, 1895, aged 11 years, in Bowmanville, Ontario and is interred at Hampton Union Cemetery.

ENNISKILLEN.

Several former neighbours of Mr. John Gilbert attended the funeral of his little daughter, Ella, at Hampton Tuesday. Much sympathy is felt for the family in their bereavement. Bowmanville Statesman, Apr. 3, 1895.
