Elizabeth Jane Souch (1852 ~ 1949)
4.4.3. Third child of Dorothy Elford and William Souch, Elizabeth Jane Souch, was born July 20, 1852, in Enniskillen, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.
She married Charles Wesley Pearn, son of Joseph Pearn and Mary Bennett, June 1, 1881, in Enniskillen, Ontario and had three children:

Elizabeth J. Souch Pearn died October 3, 1949, aged 97 years in Chilliwack, British Columbia and Charles W. Pearn died February 24, 1941, aged 87 years in New Westminster, British Columbia and are interred at Ocean View Burial Park.

Elizabeth J. Souch Pearn
July 20, 1852 ~ October 3, 1949
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Pearn, 97, a resident of Cultus Lake, were held at Sixth Avenue United Church, New Westminster, Thursday, Rev. B. F. Ennals officiating. Interment was in Ocean View Burial Park.
Deceased was the widow of the late Charles Pearn. She resided from 1944 with her daughter, Mrs. William Marshall, Cultus Lake.
Death occurred at Chilliwack, October 3, 1949. Born near Ennis-killen, Ont., in 1852, deceased moved to New Westminster in 1916. She was a member of Sixth Avenue United Church, was made a life member of the Missionary society of the church in 1926.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William Marshall, Cultus Lake; two sons, Dr. Frank C. Pearn, Portland, Oregon; William F. Pearn, Stettler, Alta.; one sister, Mrs. J. Pye, Toronto, Ont.; one brother, C. W. Souch, Hampton, Ont.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Chilliwack Progress, Oct. 13, 1949.

Passed away February 24, 1941, at his home, 1116 Dublin St., New Westminster, Charles Pearn, in his 88th year. Survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. William Marshall, Vancouver; two sons, William F., in Alberta; Dr. Frank C., Portland, Ore.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Thursday, February 27, at 1 o’clock, from the Funeral Home of S. Bowell & Son, to Ocean View Burial Park, Rev. A. W. McIntosh and Rev. H. A. Ireland officiating. Vancouver Sun, Feb. 26, 1941.
