William Frederick Pearn (1888 ~ 1953)
4.4.3.3. Third child of Elizabeth J. Souch and Charles W. Pearn, William Frederick Pearn, was born May 11, 1888, in Port Perry, Reach Twp., Ontario Co., Ontario.
He married Effie Jane Johns, daughter of Richard Johns and Margaret Hood, January 8, 1910, in Port Perry, Ontario and had eight children:

William F. Pearn died June 23, 1953, aged 65 years in Stettler, Alberta and Effie J. Johns Pearn died April 11, 1957, aged 66 years in Calgary, Alberta.

On Saturday, January 8, 1910, Miss Effie Johns to Mr. W. Pearn, both of Port Perry. The ceremony was performed by Rev. George Robinson. Port Perry Star, Jan. 19, 1910.

William F. Pearn
May 11, 1888 ~ June 23, 1953
STETTLER—Funeral services were held from the Stettler United Church for William Frederick Pearn, a Stettler old-timer having lived here since 1910. Mr. Pearn had been in ill health for some time due to a stroke. He was born at Port Perry, Ont., May 11, 1888.
Mr. Pearn was an early businessman here, but for years has been connected with several grocery concerns and was well-known and respected in town and country.
He is survived by his widow and seven children, Helen, of Clyde; Marion, of Red Deer; Mable, of Toronto; Donald, Jack and Gordon, all of Stettler, and Bill, at home; one brother, Dr. Frank Pearn, of Portland, and one sister, Mrs. W. Marshall, of Cultus Lake, B.C.
The services were in charge of Rev. Walter Little with the United Church choir in attendance. Edmonton Journal, July 15, 1953.
