Robert Adams (1883 ~ 1958)
4.4.4. Fourth child of Robert Adams and Susan Pinch, Robert Adams, was born September 28, 1883, in Feversham, Osprey Twp., Grey Co., Ontario.
He married (1) Flora B. Currie, daughter of Archibald B. Currie and Margaret Currie, September 5, 1917, in Toronto, Ontario. She died January 3, 1918, aged 36 years, in Collingwood, Ontario.
He married (2) Roxilena Winnifred Cook Smith, daughter of James Cook and Isabella Jordan, December 25, 1919, in Collingwood Twp., Grey Co., Ontario and had two children:

Robert Adams died June 12, 1958, aged 74 years, and Roxilena W. Cook Smith Adams died October 17, 1974, aged 81 years in Collingwood, Ontario and are interred at Trinity United Cemetery.

Robert Adams
Robert Adams, 30 Fourth St. East, passed away in the General and Marine Hospital on June 12, 1958, following an illness of some length. Born at Feversham 75 years ago, he was a son of the late Robert and Susan Pinch Adams. Most of his life was spent at MacMurchy’s Settlement where he farmed, retiring just a few years ago and making his home in Collingwood. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Roxilena Cook Smith; one son, James Adams and one daughter, Isabel McQueen, both of Collingwood; and four grandchildren, Sheila, Susan, Normie and Jeannie. Two brothers, Jack and Jim, and a sister, Mary, predeceased him. A brother, George Adams, lives on the Tenth Line.
His funeral at the Chatterson Funeral Home on Saturday, June 14, was conducted by Rev. W. L. Young. Interment was in Trinity United Cemetery and pallbearers were Messrs. Andrew Currie, John Currie, Alex. Livingstone, Andrew Montgomery, Archie Arbuthnot and Robert Burgess.
Relatives and friends attended the funeral from Toronto, Midland, Elmvale, Thornbury and Ravenna. Collingwood Enterprise-Bulletin, June 26, 1958.

After a lengthy illness in the General and Marine Hospital and the Glen Moore Nursing Home, Mrs. Robert Adams, 30 Fourth St. E., Collingwood passed away October 17, 1974.
The former Roxilena Winnifred Cook was the daughter of the late James Cook and Isabella Jordan and was born in Collingwood Township near Banks, April 14, 1893.
Left to mourn is a son James Adams and daughter Isabel McQueen both of Collingwood. Four grandchildren, Sheila, Mrs. Jas. McCarthy, Creemore; Susan Mather, Collingwood; Norman R. McQueen, Collingwood and Jeanne, Mrs. Roger McGillvray of Stayner.
Also two great grandsons Aaron Mather and Adam McQueen.
She was first married to Malcolm Smith who predeceased her in 1918. Later she remarried Mr. Robert Adams of MacMurchy’s Settlement where they lived and farmed until retirement in 1955 moving to Collingwood, where Mr. Adams passed away on June 12, 1958. Predeceasing her were brothers Kerwood and George Cook both of Collingwood.
Mrs. Adams was a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church, Collingwood.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Jess on Saturday, October 19, 1974 from the C. J. Fawcett Funeral Home with interment in Trinity United Cemetery, Collingwood.
Serving as pallbearers were Arch Arbuthnot, John Buckingham, Alex Livingstone, Peter Currie, John Johnston and Donald Hurst.
