Rev. J. A. Jewell, B.A., pastor of the church, performed the ceremony in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends of the contracting parties. The church was beautifully decorated with flowers, palms and ferns. The bride who was given away by her uncle, Mr. C. W. Miss Mary Souch, cousin, was flower girl, and wore a dress of pink mull and carried a basket of white daisies. Miss Gussie Annis, Toronto, cousin of the groom, played the wedding march. A reception was held later at the home of the bride’s parents and a wedding supper served to fifty or more guests the tables being prettily decorated with pink and white carnations. The happy couple left by evening train midst a shower of confetti and rice for a honeymoon trip to western cities, the bride travelling in a neatly fitting brown suit with hat to match. The bride and groom were very generously remembered by their friends, the church, choir and Sunday School presenting them with two beautiful picture and an artistic vase. They will both be greatly missed as they have been members of the choir for some years, also took an active part in all other church work.
