Montgomery, of Wyebridge, and the late Mrs. Montgomery, and William Ross Knight, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Knight, of Maple. Mrs. W. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of white satin fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, long pointed sleeves and a train, which were edged with hand made ruching. A crown of imitation orange blossoms studded with seed-pearls held her full-length embroidered veil and she carried a cascade of pale pink spring flowers centred with deeper pink roses.
Miss Alberta Fagan, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, gowned in blue net over taffeta with matching headdress and veil and carrying a cascade of deep pink spring flowers. Joseph Edward Wheatley, of Montreal was groomsman and the ushers were D. K. Shepherd, of Maple, the groom’s brother-in-law, and S. A. Knight, Toronto, cousin of the groom.
A reception followed in the picturesque garden of Maple Villa, Maple, where the groom’s mother received the guests wearing a gown of rose-petal crepe with French lace sleeves and matching hat.
Leaving by motor for their wedding trip to Haliburton, through Algonquin Park to Ottawa, the bride donned a blue and yellow checked suit, yellow blouse and hat with navy veil, and navy accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Knight will reside in Maple.
