Minnie Pearl Adams (1895 ~ 1963)
5.12.2. Second child of William R. Adams and Harriet Bullied, Minnie Pearl Adams, was born August 2, 1895, in New Park, Clarke Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.
She married Francis George Robinson, son of Arthur Robinson and Kate Agnes Tubbs, July 16, 1925, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Minnie P. Adams Robinson died October 1, 1963, aged 68 years and Frank G. Robinson died May 10, 1981, aged 83 years in Campbell River, British Columbia and are interred at Campbell River Cemetery.

Adams—Robinson
A pretty wedding took place at Ash Hall, Fraser Avenue, on July 16, 1925, when Minnie Pearl, only daughter of Mrs. H. Adams, 1225 Fifteenth Avenue East, became the bride of Mr. Frank Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Robinson, of Croydon, England. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. E. Mitchell, and bridal music was rendered by Mrs. Brown. The bride, who was given away by her brother, was attired in white satin, panelled with radium lace, and trimmed with pearls. Her veil was held in place by a wreath of orange blossoms, and she carried Ophelia roses and white carnations. She was attended by Miss Jean Dunlop, wearing pale green Georgette trimmed with gold lace, and wearing a hair bandeau. She carried white and pink carnations. The groom was supported by Mr. T. Dursley. Music and dancing were enjoyed, and vocal solos were given by Mrs. Brown's two children. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Robinson left for Victoria, the bride travelling in a costume of blue tricotine and blue satin, with touches of white, and hat to match. Vancouver Province, July 25, 1925.

Minnie P. Adams Robinson
Mrs. Minnie Robinson of Willow Point, passed away in Campbell River and District General Hospital on Tuesday, October 1, 1963.
Mrs. Robinson and her husband, Frank, had been injured in a car accident near Qualicum about three weeks previously. Mrs. Robinson suffered a broken collarbone and severe bruises, while Mr. Robinson was considerably bruised and shaken up. They were brought to Campbell River by ambulance. Mr. Robinson was subsequently released from hospital. Mrs. Robinson’s condition was not thought to be serious at first. However, she failed to improve and passed away on Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Robinson, was was 69 years of age, and her husband operated a florist business in Vancouver for many years before coming to Campbell River District to live 16 years ago (1947). The couple was well known to residents of the area, having delivered the mail together on Rural Route One for the past seven years.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Robinson is survived by a brother, Russell Adams of Vancouver; nephews and a niece, Robert Adams of Keremeos; Doug Robinson of Campbell River; Kenneth and Doris Adams of Vancouver. She will also be sorely missed by her brother-in-law and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Alec Robinson of Vancouver and Mr. and Mrs. A. W. “Robbie” Robinson of Campbell River.
Rev. Trefor Williams officiated at the funeral services which were held in St. Peter’s Anglican Church on Thursday afternoon, October 3rd and followed by interment in the Campbell River Cemetery.
Members of Island View Rebekah Lodge, of which Mrs. Robinson was a member, took part in the service at the graveside. Pallbearers were members of the local Independent Order of Oddfellows. Campbell River Upper Islander, Oct. 9, 1963.
Francis G. Robinson
March 10, 1898 ~ May 11, 1981
Long time resident Frank Robinson died Monday, May 11, 1981 in Campbell River Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 83.
He was born in Kent, England on March 10, 1898. After World War I in which he was a student pilot in Egypt. He came to Canada around 1920.
Later in Vancouver he owned and operated his own Florist business for many years. He also joined the 100F early in the 1920s.
After coming to Campbell River in 1952, he and his wife, Minnie Adams had the contract for several years to deliver the rural route mail south of Campbell River. Together they were instrumental in organizing the local order of the 100F. Minnie predeceased Mr. Robinson in 1963.
After his retirement he became very active in the Royal Canadian Legion, The Canadian Institute for the blind, The Old Age Pensioners Association, Happy Wonderers and the 100F. He also played in the Melody Makers Orchestra.
He is survived by two brothers, Alec C. Robinson of Vancouver, Donald J. Robinson of Clacton-On-Sea, England, one sister, Kathleen Grace Dalton of Billericay, England, one nephew Douglas Robinson, one niece Brenda Hartman, Vancouver and two nieces in England also survive him. Funeral services will be held May 15, at 1:00 p.m. in St. Peters Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to go to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 137. Internment will be at the Campbell River Cemetery. Campbell River Upper Islander, May 13, 1981.
