5.2.8. Eighth child of Mary Adams and Charles Lilley, Margaret Lilley, was born September 21, 1882, in Sarnia, Lambton Co., Ontario.

Margaret Lilley died May 11, 1921, aged 38 years, in Monrovia, Los Angeles, California and is interred at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, Ontario.

Margaret Lilley

The remains of Miss Margaret Lilley, who died at Los Angeles, Cal., on Wednesday, May 11, 1921, arrived in this city today and the funeral will be held from the home of her niece Mrs. C. L. Delmage, 372 Cromwell street tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the house at 3 o’clock, interment taking place at Lakeview cemetery.

Miss Lilley, who left Sarnia about eighteen years ago, moving to Chicago where she resided until last July when she moved to Los Angeles, where she resided until her death has many relatives and is well known in this city.

Surviving are six sisters: Mrs. T. F. Barton, East Orange, N.J.; Mrs. Nellie L. Reeves, Mrs. Albert Barton and Miss E. Lilley of Chicago and Mrs. C. Hoskins and Mrs. R. Bell, of this city and one brother, C. J. Lilley of Chicago.

Three nieces Mrs. C. L. Delmage, Mrs. Pres. Bartlett and Mrs. Stuart Simpson and three nephews, Chas. Lilley, Reg. Bell and Chas. Hoskins, reside in this city. Sarnia Observer, May 18, 1921.
