5.2.9.2. Second child of Ethel F. Lilley and Albert V. Barton, Bernice Evelyn Barton, was born October 16, 1919, in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.

  She married (1) Joseph Lawrence Baffato, son of Michael Baffato and Rosina Genovesi, November 28, 1938*, in Chicago, Illinois, and had two children:

  • (5.2.9.2.2)  Tina Lee  (1949 ~ ) 

 

  She married (2) Leonard Norman Ferro, son of Salvatore Ferro and Tillie Crocker, December 13, 1950*, in Chicago, Illinois, and had three children:

  • (5.2.9.2.4)  Jill Rita  (1951 ~ )

  Bernice E. Barton Baffato Ferro Reo died October 7, 1970, aged 50 years in Chicago, Illinois, and Joseph H. Baffato died March 16, 1998, aged 82 years, in Lansing, Illinois., and are interred at Evergreen Cemetery.

Joseph L. Baffato, 82, of Lansing, formerly of Chicago, passed away March 16, 1998. Beloved husband to the late Lucille (nee Fazio); loving father to Tina (Arthur) Moore; devoted grandfather to Linda (Ruben) Garza, Joseph (Rebecca) Moore, Jeffery Moore; cherished great grandfather to Angelique, Gabrielle, Alexandria, Taylor, Cameron “Bubba”; fond brother to Mary, Dominick; preceded in death by Sara and Lincoln “Lil”; also many nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services Friday, March 20, 1998 at 8:15 a.m. at Rosemoor Funeral Home, 17943 S. Torrence Avenue, Lansing, IL to St. Ann Church. Leonard N. Ferro, loving father of Jackie (Ken) Larimer, Jill (Walter) Reiman, Jeralyn, Gary and Bill Ferro; grandfather of Kristopher Larimer; loving son of Tillie Ferro; brother of Rosemary Meares. Member of American Legion Post No. 474 and Moose Lodge No. 708. Funeral 9:15 a.m. Tuesday from the Zimmerman and Sandeman Memorial Chapel, 5200 W. 95th St., to Our Lady of Loretto Church.
