Lottie Mildred Adams  (1919 ~ 2006)

 

5.3.10.3. Third child of Tim Adams and Gertrude Goodman, Lottie Mildred Adams, was born October 21, 1919, in Burketon, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario. 

  She married (1) Rosswell Earle Oke, son of William Simon Oke and Florence Julia Gibson, January 20, 1938, in Oshawa, Ontario and had three children:

  • (5.3.10.3.2)  Delbert Earle  (1946 ~ )

  • (5.3.10.3.3)  Garnet Neil  (1952 ~ )

 

 She married (2) Hermas Vila FredDusureault, December 17, 1977, in Oshawa, Ontario. He died April 7, 2007, aged 94 years, in Port Perry, Ontario.

  L. Mildred Adams Oke Dusureault died April 25, 2006, aged 87 years, in Port Perry, Ontario and Rosswell E. Oke died March 4, 1972, aged 57 years, in Toronto, Ontario and are interred at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby, Ontario.

L. Mildred Adams Oke Dusureault

Suddenly on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at the Port Perry Villa, at age 86. L. Mildred (nee Adams), beloved wife of Fred Dusureault and the late Rosswell Oke. Loved mother of Bill Oke and his wife Mercine of Port Perry, Delbert Oke of Oshawa, and Neil Oke and his wife Kathi of Oshawa. Mildred will be sadly missed by her stepchildren Dianne, Lise, Gisele, and Dennis and their families. Loving grandmother of Timothy, Jeffery, Christopher, Steven, Dan, Louise, and Staci, and great grandmother of Tara, Derrian, Kieran, Kelsey, Gage and Kevin and great great grandmother of Monica-Lyn. She is survived by her sister Viola and she was predeceased by her sisters, May, Eva, and Mary and her brother Albert Sam”. The family of Mildred Dusureault will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel” 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, May 1st from 10 to 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend Brent Stiller officiating. Private interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. Rosswell E. Oke

March 18, 1914 ~ March 4, 1972

Ill for the past three weeks, Rosswell Earl Oke died at the Wellesley Hospital, Toronto on Saturday, March 4, 1972. He lived at 558 Finucane St., Oshawa.

  Born March 18, 1914, in Darlington Township he was educated in Oshawa. He retired in 1970 due to failing health after 30 years of service with General Motors.

  The deceased is survived by his wife, the former Mildred Adams; three sons, Delbert, William and Neil, all of Oshawa; three sisters, Mrs. J. Stranz of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. S. Heard (Lorna) of Peterborough and Mrs. R. Zimmerman of Phoenix, Arizona; and three grandchildren.

  A brother John, and four sisters, Mabel, Rowena, Fern and Hazel, died before him.

 Mr. Oke is at the McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home with the service in the chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby, with Rev. Harry Mellow officiating. Bowmanville Statesman, Mar. 8, 1972.

Suddenly on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the Port Perry Villa, at age 94. Fred Dusureault, beloved husband of the late Mildred (nee Adams) and the late Yolande (nee Goulet). Loved father of Dianne and her husband Steve Carroll of Chatham, Lise Perini of Oshawa, Gisele and her husband Paul Flieler of Port Perry, and Dennis Dusureault and his wife Brenda of Burlington. Loving grandfather of Mark, Lynn, Mariano, Ramona, Michelle, Cameron, Tammy, Ashleigh, Matt, Deanna, and Breanne, and great grandfather of Jordan, Abigail, Samantha, Jacob, Patrick and Kathleen. Fred will be sadly missed by his stepchildren Bill Oke and his wife Mercine of Port Perry, Delbert Oke of Oshawa, and Neil Oke and his wife Kathi of Oshawa and their families. The family of Fred Dusureault will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel” 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, April 12th from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating.  Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
