George Elmer Adams  (1910 ~ 1972)

 

5.3.1.3. Third child of Joseph H. Adams and A. Mabel Martin, George Elmer Adams, was born November 17, 1910, in Burketon, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario. 

 

  George E. Adams died February 25, 1972, aged 61 years in Oshawa, Ontario and is interred at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby, Ontario.

George E. Adams

George (Pike) Adams, 61, of R.R.2, Blackstock, died Friday in the Oshawa General Hospital after a short illness.

  He was born November 17, 1910, a son of the later Joseph and Mabel Adams.

  Mr. Adams lived all his life in the Burketon area and farmed there for 30 years.

  He is survived by his sister, Mrs. David Bothwell (Bernice); and two brothers, Earl and Charles, both of Oshawa.

 The funeral service will be from Armstrong's Funeral Home Monday at 1:45 p.m. with Rev. R. C. White officiating. Interment will be in Mount Lawn Cemetery. Oshawa Times, Feb. 26, 1972.
