Elizabeth Pearl Adams (1919 ~ 1976)
5.3.2.4. Fourth child of C. Frederick Adams and B. Ella Sheckelton, Elizabeth Pearl Adams, was born July 22, 1919, in Enniskillen, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.
She married Alfred Thomas Hill Randle, son of Violet Winifred Emiline Randle, September 2, 1939, in Hampton, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario and had three children:

E. Pearl Adams Randle died April 22, 1976, aged 56 years and Alfred T. Randle died September 28, 1989, aged 73 years in Bowmanville, Ontario and are interred at Hampton Union Cemetery.

E. Pearl Adams Randle
July 22, 1919 ~ April 22, 1976
After a seven month’s illness, Pearl Randle passed away in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, on Thursday, April 22, 1976. She was in her 57th year.
Daughter of Charles Frederick and Beatrice Ella Adams, she was born in Enniskillen and educated in Oshawa. On September 2, 1939 she married Alfred Randle. A resident of Hampton from 1939 to 1976, she had previously resided in Enniskillen and Oshawa.
A devoted wife and mother, she was also a member of Hampton United Church.
She had been employed by Northumberland and Newcastle Board of Education at M. J. Hobbs School for 9½ years.
Surviving besides her husband are her daughter Evelyn (Mrs. William Yeo), Hampton; Eunice (Mrs. Keith Currie), Calgary; Marlene (Mrs. Robert Bryant), Crossfield, Alberta and a sister Ruby (Mrs. Earl Stephenson), Oshawa.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. Erb on Saturday at the Morris Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers were Messrs. Kenneth Butson, Orville Hindman, Clifford Adams, Edward S. Taylor, Elwood Shackelton and Gordon Yeo.

Alfred T. Randle
January 16, 1916 ~ September 28, 1989
Born in the county of Herefordshire, England, in the town of Hertford, in 1916, Alfred T. Randle, passed away on September 28, 1989.
At birth he was placed in a Dr. Bernardo Home, where he remained until the age of 14. In 1930 he accepted an opportunity to come to Canada, finally arriving at the residence of Hilton Peters in Hampton, as a farm hand. He later worked for the Allin family, north of Bowmanville on their farm.
He also worked as a delivery man for Carter’s Bakery, Bowmanville and in 1939 he married Elizabeth Pearl Adams.
In 1941 he was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Bowmanville leaving in 1943 to voluntarily enlist in World War II. Although wounded in action, he remained in Germany as peace keeping personnel until 1946.
Returning home he returned to Goodyear and purchased a home on Pearlies Corners, 8th Line and Taunton Road, where he raised cows, chickens and pigs, and also shipped cream to the Hampton Creamery.
Retiring from Goodyear after 25 years service, he became custodian at M.J. Hobbs in 1967, where he rapidly became very popular with the children.
He retired as custodian in 1981.
Surviving also are his children Evelyn, Eunice and Marlene.
