Ethel Mae Fowler  (1914 ~ 1992)

 

5.3.4.4. Fourth child of Martha J. Adams and R. Wesley Fowler, Ethel Mae Fowler, was born July 23, 1914, in Enniskillen, Darlington Twp., Durham Co.,  Ontario. 

  She married Archibald George Bailey Scott, son of Grace Scott, August 8, 1938, in Toronto, Ontario and had three children:

• (5.3.4.4.2)  Virginia Ethel “Jenny”  (1940 ~ 2019)

• (5.3.4.4.3)  Richard John  (1942 ~ 1942)

 

  E. Mae Fowler Scott died December 12, 1992, aged 78 years in Brampton, Ontario, and is interred at Pontypool Cemetery and A. George B. Scott died February 25, 1968, aged 64 years in Toronto, Ontario, and is interred at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Mae E. Fowler Scott

At Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton on Saturday, December 12, 1992, Mae Scott in her 79th year formerly of Bowmanville. Beloved wife of the late George Scott. Dear mother of Grace and her husband Michael Coleman and Jenny Scott. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Rested at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home on Monday. Funeral service was held in the chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday. Spring interment Pontypool Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Society or Multiple Sclerosis. August 8, 1903 ~ February 25, 1968

At Toronto Wellesley Hospital, on Sunday, February 25, 1968, Archibald George Bailey Scott, husband of Mae Fowler, and father of Mrs. Michael Coleman (Grace) and Mrs. Kenneth Scott (Virginia), dear friend of Cecil Rogers. Friends may call at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne St. (near Wellesley). Funeral service Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Grace M. Scott Coleman

January 20, 1939 ~ October 19, 1993

After a lengthy illness on October 19, 1993 at Peel Memorial Hospital, Grace M. Coleman, loving wife of Mike. Dear mother of Jamie, Lori, Kristine and Rhonda. Grandmother of Kristen, Andrew and Jeffrey. Daughter of the late George and Mae Scott. Sister of Virginia. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home “Archdekin Chapel” 289 Main St. N., (Hwy 10), Brampton, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, October 21, 1993 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Michael (Mike) Coleman on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Born on February 1, 1942, husband to [the late] Grace, father to Jamie, Lori, Kristine and Rhonda, grandfather to Kristin, Andrew, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Brady and great-grandfather to Gracie Mae. Brother to Phil Coleman and sister Rhoda Holder. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Scott Funeral Home ‘Brampton Chapel’, 289 Main Street North, in Brampton at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
