James Wesley Fowler  (1917 ~ 1982)

 

5.3.4.6. Sixth child of Martha J. Adams and R. Wesley Fowler, James Wesley Fowler, was born September 30, 1917, in Manvers Twp., Durham Co., Ontario. 

  He married June Carmen Gray, daughter of Carmen Gray and Louisa Bisset, February 13, 1937, in Guelph, Wellington Co., Ontario and had four children:

  James W. Fowler died July 3, 1982, aged 64 years in Thessalon, Ontario and is interred at Pine Grove Cemetery, and June C. Gray Fowler died September 11, 1960, aged 42 years in Guelph, Ontario and is interred at Woodlawn Cemetery.

June 16, 1918 ~ September 11, 1960

June Fowler passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Sunday, September 11, 1960June Gray, in her 43rd year, wife of James Fowler; dear daughter of Mrs. Carmen Gray and the late Mr. Gray; dear mother of James, John, Judith, and Joanna; dear sister of William, Robert, Agnes (Mrs. Lloyd Reilly); Iris (Mrs. Joseph Nadalin), all of Guelph; Margaret (Mrs. John Breaton), Kitchener; Betty (Mrs. Joseph Lawlor), Richmond, B.C.

  Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., where funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will be at the Funeral Home on Monday evening (tonite), 7-9 p.m. Guelph Mercury, Sept. 12, 1960.

 

Jean M. Martin Hall Fowler

September 16, 1918 ~ November 23, 1978

At the General and Marine Hospital in Owen Sound, Thursday, November 23, 1978, Jean Marie Martin of Sauble Beach. Loving wife of James Fowler. Beloved daughter of Mrs. James Martin and the late Mr. Martin. Loving mother of Lois (Mrs. John Davison), Guelph; William of Cambridge; Diane (Mrs. Hayward Tucker), Sault Ste. Marie. Loved stepmother of Jack and Jim Fowler and Judy (Mrs. Leo Heyden) of Sault Ste. Marie. Loved sister of Velma (Mrs. Gus Mitges), Owen Sound. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers, George and James. The late Mrs. Fowler will be resting at the Tannahill Funeral Home after 7:30 Saturday where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 11 o’clock. Doris M. Trudeau King Fowler

June 4, 1919 ~ March 13, 2010

It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Doris (Muffy) King-Fowler on Saturday, March 13, 2010 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Henry King and James Fowler. Much loved mother of Willard King (Sharon), Sandra Giasson (Rudy), Ron King (Coralee), Debbie Smith (Gary) and Hank King (Ann). Grandmother of Troy Giasson (Lori), Jody Giasson, Curtis Giasson (Christine), Joel Giasson (Joanna), Jason Giasson (Karen), Rudy Giasson Jr. (Kristy), Cindy Murphy (Mike), Tricia Stewart (Ken), Melissa Vanbuskirk (Shawn), Shawn Smith (Christine), Kevin Smith (Melanie), Jessie King, Kayley King, Marcus King, and 21 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Vina King (late Cedric), Hilda Bellerose (late Ralph), Francis Robinson (Late Ernest) and brother Jack (Shirley). She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. She will be forever remembered for her great stories and humour. Eric Scott Arthur Fowler of Guelph, in his 16th year, passed away peacefully at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, on Friday, September 7, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. Cherished son of Kenneth French and Alex (Patricia) Fowler. Beloved brother of Jessica Fowler (Fred) and Ryan Fowler. Forever loved grandson of Janice and Sam Hubbell and Linda Duffy (Dick), all of Guelph and Jack Fowler of Campbell River, B.C. Very dearly loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece and nephew. He will also be greatly missed by his little dog, Zoey. Private services were held at the Gilchrist Chapel - McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, on Wednesday, September 12. Judy Louise Mosimann, passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox on May 10, 1995. She leaves behind her husband, Elmer; brothers Jack (Peggy) and James (Joanne). She will be missed by many relatives and friends. Funeral Service was held Monday, May 15, 1995 in the United Mennonite Church in Black Creek, with Pastor Peter Neudorf officiating. Cremation. Robert P. Gallagher

1962 ~ September 10, 1975

Passed away suddenly at Toronto on Wednesday, September 10, 1975. Robert Patrick Gallagher, aged 12 years; dear son of Lloyd Gallagher and Judy Heyden, both of Guelph; dear grandson of James Fowler of Bruce Mines; William Heyden of Rockwood; and Beatrice Adami of Guelph.

Elmer Mosimann

September 5, 1928 ~ January 5, 2005

Elmer Mosimann passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Campbell River Hospital.

  He leaves behind brothers: Herb (Twin), Walter and George, and sister Liz.

  Born in Lethbridge, Alberta on September 5, 1928. Elmer worked for many years as a truck driver in Calgary, moving to Comox Valley in 1984.
