5.3.6.6. Sixth child of James H. Adams and Gertrude M. Wotten, Ola Jean Adams, was born September 4, 1927, in Burketon, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.
She married James Meredith Fallis, son of Meredith Esmond Fallis and Jennie Pearl Devitt, May 22, 1948, in Enniskillen, Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario and had three children:

O. Jean Adams Fallis died April 7, 2016, aged 88 years, in Bowmanville, Ontario and James M. Fallis died March 6, 1969, aged 48 years, in Port Perry, Ontario and are interred at Cadmus Union Cemetery.

Aged 88 years. Passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Beloved wife of the late Jim Fallis. Dear mother of Linda (Jerry) Johnson, David (Veronica) Fallis and Gail (Murray) Finney. Loving grandmother of Jerry (Barb), Brad, David (Cystal), Ashley (Mac), Jeff (Jenn), Sarah (Jay) and great-grandmother of Recia, Jacob, Greyson, Makenzie and Nolan. Cherised sister of Helen McDonald, Ruth Cowle and the late Henry Adams, Marjorie Gray, Dorothy Lethangue and Lawrence (Stout) Adams. Visitiation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N., Bowmanville on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, 178 Church St., Bowmanville on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery in Blackstock. James M. Fallis
January 13, 1921 ~ March 6, 1969
The death of James Meredith Fallis occurred at Port Perry Community Hospital on Thursday, March 6, 1969. He was in his 49th year.
An only son of the late Meredith Fallis and Jennie Devitt, he was born on January 13, 1921, and resided all his life on the farm which has always been in the Fallis name. He received his education in Cartwright Township and was a member of Cadmus United Church.
Mr. Fallis is survived by his wife, the former Jean Adams, whom he married on May 22, 1948, two daughters, Linda and Gail, and one son, David, all at home. Also surviving are three sisters, Chrystal, Muriel (Mrs. Don Thompson), and Annie (Mrs. Joe Bradburn).
The funeral service was held from the McDermott-Panabaker Chapel on Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m., and was conducted by Rev. Philip Romeril. Interment was in Cadmus Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Messrs. Norman Rohrer, Grant Edgerton, Lawrence Adams, Henry Adams, Maurice Nesbitt and Laverne Devitt.
Many beautiful floral tributes were evidence of the esteem in which the deceased was held. Flower bearers were nephews and neighbours. Bowmanville Statesman, Apr. 2, 1969.
