5.3.8.1. First child of E. Maude Adams and Richard W. Winch, Clifford Wesley Winch, was born April 30, 1910, in Curlew Pct., Ferry Co., Washington, U.S.
He married Rebecca Ora Spinks, daughter of James Edward Spinks and Mary Ann Darcy, November 6, 1941, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Clifford W. Winch died April 12, 1948, aged 37 years in Treherne, Manitoba and R. Ora Spinks Winch died December 10, 1981, aged 80 years in Winnipeg, Manitoba and are interred at Bethel Cemetery, Treherne, Manitoba.

A quiet wedding was solemnized at Fort Garry United church manse, Winnipeg on November 6, 1941 at 8 p.m., when Ora, eldest daughter of Mr. And Mrs. James Spinks of Treherne, was united in marriage to Clifford Wesley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Winch, of Eyebrow, Sask. Rev. L. C. Stinson (cousin of the bride) officiated.
The bride was attired in a street length dress of soldier blue triple sheer with white trimmings, hat and accessories to match.
The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a yellow gold Westfield wrist watch. Treherne Times, Nov. 13, 1941.

Clifford W. Winch
The sudden and untimely death of Clifford Wesley Winch occurred in Treherne, Manitoba Monday morning, April 12, 1948, when he succumbed to a heart condition during a minor operation. He was 37 years and 11 months of age.
“Cliff” as he was known by all in this and surrounding territory, was born in Curlew, Wash., U.S., on April 30, 1910. At two years of age he was taken by his parents and family to Eyebrow, Sask., and settled there where he received his elementary education and later, in 1938, came to Treherne. He was married to Miss Ora Spinks in 1941 and has lived in Treherne since, being a mechanic for the most part in the employ of Scott’s Garage, until his untimely passing.
The deceased was a just and upright citizen, a keen enthusiast in all his personal affairs, and took much pride in being ready and willing to lend assistance to all whom he came in contact.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, at Treherne; mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. R. Winch, of Eyebrow, Sask.; two brothers, Ernest, at Regina, and Elmer, at Porcupine Plains, Sask.; two sisters, Mrs. Melland, of Brownlee, Sask.; and Mrs. Johnson, of Mower, Sask.
The funeral service will be held today Thursday, April 15th at Treherne United Church, with Rev. Wm. Bill officiating. Burial in Bethel cemetery.
A graveside service will be conducted by brethren of the Loyal Orange Lodge, of which he was a member. He was also a member of the Black Preceptory. Treherne Times, Apr. 15, 1948.
R. Ora Spinks Winch
June 6, 1901 ~ December 10, 1981
Peacefully, on Thursday, December 10, 1981 at the Misericorida General Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mrs. Ora Winch aged 80 years of the Tiger Hills Manor, Treherne, Man.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. C. Allan from the Treherne United Church on Monday, December 14, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers were Messrs: Bob Cain, Stuart Hooey, Gary Robinson, Jack Nostedt, Don Stinson and Gary Lodwick.
Interment followed in the Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Winch leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Mrs. Eileen Guest of Winnipeg, Man., several nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Clifford Winch in 1948 and by two sisters, Rebecca in infancy and Eletta Maud at age 21 years. Ora was born a daughter to the late James and Mary Spinks at Treherne and there she was raised and lived all her life, except for seven years when she lived in Winnipeg before taking residence at the Tiger Hills Manor, Treherne.
