5.7.5.1. First child of Talbert Ferguson and Margaret McQueen, Eldon Talbert Ferguson, was born August 20, 1923, in Egremont Twp., Grey Co., Ontario.

 

  Eldon T. Ferguson died June 1, 1968, aged 44 years in Toronto, Ontario, and is interred at Mount Forest Cemetery.

Eldon T. Ferguson

Eldon Talbert Ferguson, 44, Conn, passed away in Toronto on Saturday, June 1, 1968. He was a native of West Luther Township and farmed there until moving to Conn a year ago.

  Mr. Ferguson, who was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Talbert Ferguson, is survived by a brother, Donald, Conn.

  The funeral was held from Westcott United Church, Conn, on Tuesday, June 4, with Mr. Wayne Myhre officiating, assisted by Rev. A. W. Lang, chaplain of the Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto. Interment was in Mount Forest Cemetery.

  The pallbearers were neighbours, Messrs. Archie Officer, George Graham, Donald Moore, Verne Small, Clifford Adams and Fred Smith.

   The flowers were carried by Nelson Moore and cousins of Mr. Ferguson.

  Friends attended the funeral from Oshawa, Enniskillen, Toronto, Guelph, Fergus, Orillia, Collingwood, Priceville, Baltimore, Maryland and other points. Mount Forest Confederate, June 20, 1968.
