5.9.2.5. Fifth child of Mary Jane Johnston and Allen Laidlaw, Mary Naomi Laidlaw, was born September 26, 1912, in Midland, Simcoe Co., Ontario.
She married Leaford William Clark, son of William Herbert Clark and Rosina Merry, August 10, 1940, Midland, Ontario and had two children:

M. Naomi Laidlaw Clark died February 8, 1989, aged 76 years and Leaford W. Clark died July 27, 1990, aged 79 years in Toronto, Ontario and are interred at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Beloved wife of Leaford Clark and loving mother of William Clark, Naomi and her husband Robert Emmett. Adoring grandmother of Laura and Sarah Emmett. Dear sister of Frances Megaw of Midland, Ruth Porter of Agincourt, Joan Crisp of Sarnia, John Laidlaw of Toronto and the late Mildred Houston, Aberdeen Laidlaw and Doris Laidlaw. Resting at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West at Windermere (near the Jane subway) on Thursday 2-4 and 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Service 2 p.m. Friday afternoon att he Royal York Road United Church, 851 Royal York Road (south of Bloor St. W.)
