Elvera Beatrice Switzer  (1905 ~ 1993)

 

5.9.4.1. First child of Margaret E. Johnston and Alfred E. Switzer, Elvera Beatrice “Vera” Switzer, was born February 9, 1905, in Midland, Simcoe Co., Ontario. 

  She married John Henry “Jack” Hebner, son of William Wesley Hebner and Annie Elizabeth Chapman, May 24, 1927, in Toronto, Ontario and had two children:

• (5.9.4.1.2)  Charles Peter  (1935 ~ )

 

  Vera B. Switzer Hebner died April 12, 1993, aged 88 years in Campbellford, Ontario and John H. Hebner died March 7, 1980, aged 79 years in Peterborough, Ontario.

At Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 12, 1993, Elvera Beatrice Hebner of Marmora in her 89th year. Wife of the late John Hebner. Mother of Esther and Lloyd Strong, Harley, Ont. and Peter and Betty Hebner, Crowe Lake. Loved by her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sister of Doris Todd and Marg Milligan, Hamilton. The family will receive friends at the McConnell Funeral Home, Marmora from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service in the Marmora Chapel Thursday, April 15 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. At Sunnybrook Hospital on Friday, November 26, 1948, William Wesley Hebner, husband of the late Annie Elizabeth Chapman, and dear father of Nellie, Jack, Annie and Harold, in his 75th year. Annie E. Chapman Hebner

May 10, 1882 ~ July 26, 1939

At her residence, 180 River Street, on Wednesday, July 26, 1939, Annie Elizabeth Chapman, beloved wife of Wesley Hebner and mother of Peter, Jack, Agnes, Annie, Ellen and Harold, in her 58th year.

February 7, 1841 ~ January 12, 1906

Peter Hebner a well-known citizen of the East End died on Friday, January 12, 1906, in his 65th year. The funeral took place on Sunday to the Union Cemetery. Barrie Northern Advance, Jan. 18, 1906.
