MottenRiblet

A Quiet Marriage Yesterday. The residence of Mrs. George Riblet on East Eighth street was the scene of a happy event yesterday morning, her daughter Effie upon that occasion being united in marriage with Mr. Charles Motten. There was only a small party present composed of relatives and the most intimate friends. Rev. Dr. Luccock officiated and was assisted by Rev. A.W. Hutchins. The presents, which were numerous, were elegant. Mr. and Mrs. Motten took the noon train for a trip to Syracuse, Little Falls and Rochester, and upon their return will take up their residence at the home of Mrs. Riblet. The young people are prime favourites in a large society circle, all of whom wish them a long, happy, and prosperous life. Erie Morning Dispatch, June 7, 1889.
