Mary Annetta Skinner (1867 ~ 1945)
6.2.1.3. Third child of Elizabeth Ullyot and George Skinner, Mary Annetta “Nettie” Skinner, was born April 12, 1867, in Darlington Twp., Durham Co., Ontario.
She married James William Long, son of Henry William Long and Margaret Harris, August 18, 1891, in Langdon, Cavalier Co., North Dakota, U.S. and had ten children:

M. Annetta Skinner Long died July 11, 1945, aged 77 years and James W. Long died February 6, 1920, aged 58 years in Langdon, North Dakota and are interred at Harvey Center Cemetery.

M. Annetta Skinner Long
April 12, 1867 ~ July 11, 1945
Mrs. James Long, who died Wednesday, July 11, 1945, after an illness of a month’s duration, was buried in Harvey Cemetery Sunday from the Harvey Centre Methodist Church with Rev. Duncan Matheson officiating. Pallbearers were Russell Ullyot, Manly Darling, Andrew Murie, John Seeley and Raymond and Morris Welsh.
Mary Annetta Skinner was born April 12, 1867, to George and Elizabeth Skinner in Ontario. She was married to James William Long at Langdon August 18, 1891, and has lived in Cavalier County most of the time since her marriage. Mr. Long died in February, 1920.
Surviving children are Mrs. Fern Thompson, Mrs. Mae Ekberg, Mrs. Mabel Baker, Edgar, Everett and Alfred, all of Langdon, Harvey of International Falls, Minn., Mrs. Pearl Drott of Stanton, Neb., and Mrs. Hazel Haines. A son, Marvin Henry, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Phoebe Trennum and Mrs. Alex McDonald of Langdon, and Mrs. Edith LaFrance of Perth are her sisters. Ernest Skinner of Langdon is a brother. Cavalier County Republican, July 19, 1945.

James W. Long
September 4, 1861 ~ February 6, 1920
On Sunday afternoon in the cemetery at Harvey Center the funeral was held of J. W. Long, of Easby, whose death Friday afternoon followed an illness of influenza in which the presence of pneumonia in its final stages lessened the chances of the patient's recovery. Deceased owned a dray line and town property at Easby, had resided there for some time and was slightly over forty years old. The family remaining consists of a widow and three children. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Harkness of this city. Langdon Courier Democrat, Feb. 12, 1920.
