Margaret Adams (1825 ~ 1898)

8. Eighth child of Thomas Adams and Isabella McBride, Margaret Adams, was born August 28, 1825, in Co. Monaghan, Ireland.

She married Thomas Linton, son of John Linton and Jane Gibson, on November 25, 1850, in Haldimand Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario and had four children:

(8.3) Zacharias (1864 ~ 1882)
(8.4) Margaret Ann (1868 ~ 1950)

Margaret Adams Linton died May 15, 1898, aged 72 years and Thomas Linton died August 2, 1893, aged 68 years in Mayfield Twp., Lapeer Co., Michigan, U.S., and are interred at Stiles Cemetery.

Margaret Adams Linton

Mrs. Margaret Linton, aged 72, died May 15, 1898, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. Weston, in Mayfield, from which place the funeral was held Tuesday at 2 p.m., Rev. C. R. Kellerman officiating. Mrs. Linton had lived with her daughter for some time. Lapeer County Press, May 18, 1898.
