  Glenn L. Swain died March 5, 1988, aged 70 years in Lapeer, Lapeer County, Michigan, and is interred at Arcadia Cemetery.

Glenn L. Swain

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 8, 1988, at 1 p.m. from Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City for Glenn Linton Swain, 70, of Lapeer County Medical Care Facility, formerly of Lum. Born on June 3, 1917, in Arcadia Township, to the late Glenn Swain and Blanche Linton, he passed away on March 5, 1988, at Lapeer General Hospital, following an extended illness.

  Mr. Swain lived most his life in the Lum area, was a farm laborer and worked a short time with the Grand Trunk Railroad. 

 Surviving are one sister, Omah and husband Ralph (Mike) Kilbreath of Lum; one brother, Samuel and his wife, Geraldine Swain of Daleville, Ala.; four nieces; two nephews and several great nieces and nephews. 

  Rev. William McNees, pastor, of Lum Evangelical Wesleyan Church officiated at the service, with burial in Arcadia Township Cemetery in Lum. Imlay City Tri-City Times, Mar. 9, 1988.
