8.2.2.7. Seventh child of Benjamin F. Moore and Grace L. Higley, Lorene Elizabeth Moore, was born August 23, 1945, in Lapeer, Lapeer Co., Michigan.
She married Alan Abraham Goldberg, son of Harold Bernard Goldberg and Sophie Shirley Cohen, June 14, 1966*, in Madison Heights, Michigan and had four children:

Lorene E. Goldberg, 43, of Dearborn, Michigan died December 16, 1988 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn.
She was born August 23, 1945 to Benjamin and Grace Moore.
Ms. Goldberg is survived by four daughters, Rebekah, Amy, Katharine and Margaret, all of Dearborn; one brother, Ben (and wife, Mary) Moore of Troy; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Pierce Moore and George Moore.
Services were held Monday at The Baird-Newton Funeral Home in Lapeer. The Rev. Phillip Seymour officiated. Burial was in the Stiles Cemetery in Lapeer. Lapeer County Press, Dec. 21, 1988.
Alan A. Goldberg
January 9, 1945 ~ March 10, 2021
Alan Abraham Goldberg passed away March 10, 2021 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 9, 1945 to Sophie Collens and Harold Bernard Goldberg in Highland Park, Michigan. Alan received a Bachelor of Philosophy from Wayne State University, and a Master of Arts from Northern Illinois University at DeKalb. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Jackye Sue Goldberg, and his daughters, Rebekah Krigsman (husband Yoel), Amy Rassmussen (husband David), Katharine Rosell (husband Michael), and Margaret Goldberg. He was the little brother to Lorraine "Lory" Ledford, and uncle to her many sons. He was also Grandfather/Zadie to 6 grandchildren: Sam Krigsman, Leeba Tova Krigsman, Chiam Krigsman, Amania Krigsman, Alexandra Rosell, and Benjamin Rosell. He was a man who loved being around people, telling stories and jokes, and watching science fiction movies. He also loved learning new things in regard to reading books/media and engaging with people. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs, but always wanted the Detroit Lions to win a Super Bowl. He was liked and loved by many people. Alan was a bowler in the B'nei Brith League until the Covid Pandemic cancelled that. He enjoyed playing Poker with his buddies until the Pandemic struck. He regularly attended Boxing classes on ZOOM at the Parkinson Center on 95th and Mission. His Judaism was an important part of his life, and he davened with his many friends at Kehilath Israel Synagogue and B.I.A.V. Donations to the Allan Greenberg Youth Lounge at K.I. Synagogue in Alan’s memory would be gratefully appreciated or a charity of the donor’s choice.
