She married George Earl Spurck, son of Francis H. Spurck and Phoebe Johnson Austill, on March 28, 1922, in Detroit, Michigan, and had one child:

Lapeer friends of Miss Grace Moore will be interested to learn of her marriage recently to Mr. George E. Spurck of Detroit. Mrs. Spurck is a daughter of Supervisor and Mrs. George Moore of Mayfield Township and has taught in the Detroit schools for the past three years. Lapeer County Press, May 24, 1922.

Grace L. Moore Spurck

Formerly of Southfield, Mrs. Grace Spurck, age 83, Pontiac Township, died Saturday [September 9, 1972] in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan.
Born August 18, 1889, in Lapeer, Mrs. Spurck is survived by a son, Peter, Pontiac Township; a brother, Charles Moore, Lapeer; and five grandchildren.
She retired in 1959 after 35 years of teaching at Esterbrook Elementary School, Detroit, Michigan, and National Retired Teachers Associations.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Spiller-Spitler Funeral Home, 836 North Main, Royal Oak. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Birmingham, Michigan. Royal Oak Tribune, Sept. 10, 1972.
George E. Spurck
August 8, 1896 ~ August 27, 1966
George E. Spurck, age 70, 28413 Red Leaf Lane, Southfield, died today [August 27, 1966] in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, where he had been for three months. Mr. Spurck had been a school teacher with the North Branch school system. He also taught in Detroit, Grand Marais, and Columbiaville.
Mr. Spurck was born August 8, 1896 in Piketon, Ohio. He was married to the former Grace Moore on March 28, 1922 in Detroit. She survives.
Mr. Spurck was a member of the American Legion, Lapeer; Lodge 2, F. and A.M. Detroit; The Michigan and National Teacher Associations and the National Rifle Association.
He also served with the Navy during World War I.
A memorial service will be held at 8:15 p.m., Sunday at the Spiller-Spitler Funeral Home, 836 North Main, Royal Oak.
The Rev. Canon Charles C. Jatho, rector eneritus of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Royal Oak, will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Birmingham, Michigan. Royal Oak Tribune, Aug. 27, 1966.
