8.4.5. Fifth child of Margaret A. Linton and Edward L. Weston, Bessie Helen Weston, was born April 23, 1904, in Lapeer, Lapeer Co., Michigan, U.S.

  She married Floyd Hezekiah Davis, son of William H. Davis and Minnie Mae Best, June 10, 1936, in Richmond, Michigan, and had one child:

  Bessie H. Weston Davis died December 10, 1978, aged 74 years, and Floyd H. Davis died April 17, 1977, aged 75 years, in Lapeer, Michigan, and are interred at Stiles Cemetery.

Bessie H. Weston Davis

Bessie H. Davis, 74, of 1046 Jefferson St., died Sunday, December 10, 1978, at Lapeer General Hospital.

  She was born in Lapeer, April 23, 1904, daughter of Edward and Margaret Weston. She married Floyd H. Davis who preceded her in death April 17, 1977. 

  Mrs. Davis was a retired school teacher. She belonged to Onesima Club and the retired teachers club.

  Mrs. Davis leaves a daughter, Mrs. Don (Patricia) Miller of Lapeer; two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Sim, of Flint.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. The Rev. Robert Fox officiated. Burial was in Stiles Cemetery. Lapeer County Press, Dec. 13, 1978.

Floyd H. Davis

March 18, 1902 ~ April 17, 1977

Floyd H. Davis, 75, of 1046 Jefferson St., Lapeer died Sunday, April 17, 1977 at Lapeer County General Hospital.

  Mr. Davis was born March 18, 1902 at Portland, Michigan. He was retired from Lapeer Metal Products. Services were held Tuesday at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home. Dr. Elmer Braden officiated. Burial was in Stiles Cemetery.

  Surviving are his wife, Bessie; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Miller of Lapeer; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Linabury of Drayton Plains. Lapeer County Press, Apr. 20, 1977.
