Margaret is survived by her children: Rhonda Webb (Ken) of LaSalle, MB, Elaine Hilts (Robin) of Swift Current, SK, and Dean (Paulette) of Medicine Hat, AB. Grandchildren: Kristal Fournier (Manny), Mackenzie Blezard (Veronica), Cory Webb (Melanie), Kendal Webb (Jordan), Branden and Erin Hilts. Great grandchildren: Tristen and Carter Fournier, Scott and Ella Webb. Sisters-in-law Mabel Adams, Ina Light, Evelyn Hay and many loved nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Artie in 1982; her parents Archie and Mildred Adams; her father and mother-in-law Leon and Annie Blezard; Brothers Ken, Cliff and Russ Adams; brothers and sisters-in-law Norman Light, Alex Hay, Anne Adams, Lila Adams, Willie and Verna Blezard; Good friends Mary Corfield and Ethel Brown and many, many lifetime friends and neighbours.

Margaret was born on February 16, 1931 in Sceptre SK. She was raised on the farm north of Sceptre and attended the Fairbanks Rural School and then Sceptre High School. On October 15, 1949 she married Artie Blezard and moved to his family farm where they raised their three children and enjoyed farm life until Artie's untimely death in 1982. Margaret loved the farm, the outdoors, her many pets, her community and mostly her family and friends. She was an avid spectator of all sports especially the ones her children and grandchildren were involved in. She was a fantastic cook, known for her buns and pies which could be found at every family or community gathering. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cross stitch and playing cards. Another favourite pastime was sending cards for any occasion that had meaning to a friend or relative. Margaret was always on the go and willing to help out with whatever needed to be done. She belonged to many organizations over the years and was a lifetime member of the Royal Purple.  Margaret travelled to Mexico, Disneyland, Branson, but her favourite place was anywhere her family was. Gramma B as she was known to family and friends alike was always at anything to do with "her" kids and she had many, many that were special to her.

Mom always had a quick smile, a helping hand and was a source of constant strength. Life was not always easy for her but she always made the best of what she had. Even in the last few years with her failing health she never complained. She was always more concerned with those around her than herself and never wanted to be a “burden” to anyone. We will miss the twinkle in her eyes, the laughter in her heart and the unselfish love she gave to us all.  We have lost the best Mom that God has ever given. May your rest be as peaceful as it is deserved. We will have you in our hearts forever Gramma B.

In Margaret's memory donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank Dr. Valtchanova, Dr. Olfert and all the nurses at Home Care, CRH and the Palliser for the wonderful and caring way they cared for Mom over these last few years. Thanks to the many friends who sent cards, visited and phoned or helped out as her health was failing. Your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated by Mom and by her family.
