George Milford Tucker (1895 ~ 1958)
9.5.2. Second child of Elizabeth Adams and George Tucker, George Milford Tucker, was born May 30, 1895, in Fenella, Haldimand Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario.
He married Reta Elizabeth Jewell, daughter of Levi James Jewell and Araminta Amelia Bailey, March 13, 1918, in Hastings, Northumberland Co., Ontario and had one child:

G. Milford Tucker died May 10, 1958, aged 62 years, in Gore's Landing, Ontario and Reta E. Jewell Tucker died December 31, 1982, aged 83 years, in Cobourg, Ontario and are interred at Macklin’s Cemetery.

G. Milford Tucker
Milford Tucker, aged 63, Hamilton Township farmer, resident near Gore’s Landing, passed away May 10, 1958, suddenly.
Native of Haldimand Township, deceased attended Montgomery’s School, near Fenella, and was the son of the late George E. Tucker. He was a member of the Canadian Legion at Kingston, and had resided near Gore’s Landing for 34 years. He was a member of Plainville United Church.
His widow and one son, Irvine at Plainville survive. Other relatives include, Elvin Tucker, Cobourg, Arthur Tucker, RR1, Listowel.
Funeral was held May 13 from Bowes Funeral Home, Rev. Mr. Hanna officiating, with interment at Macklin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy White, Gerald Lander, Alex Buttar, Allen Dines, Don Herriot, Keith Halstead. Cobourg Sentinel-Star, May 15, 1958.
Reta E. Jewell Tucker
January 3, 1899 ~ December 31, 1982
Mrs. Reta Tucker, a life-long area resident died at the Streamway Nursing Home on Friday, December 31, 1982. She was in her 84th year.
Mrs. Tucker, a daughter of Levi and Arminta Jewell of Dartford was born on January 3, 1899, and was the wife of the late Milford Tucker, a farmer in the Fenella and Harwood areas for many years.
She was a member of the Harwood United Church, U.C.W. and Women’s Institute, before moving to the Streamway Nursing Home in 1980.
She is survived by her son Irvene, of Cobourg, grand daughters Mrs. Bonnie Nixon of Port Hope, Mrs. Marlene Brown of Hastings and Mrs. Sandra Provost of Cobourg; one brother Gordon Jewell of Cobourg and three sisters: Mrs. Lyla Dowler, of Harwood, Mrs. Lillian Sandercock and Mrs. Olive Lean, both of Roseneath.
The funeral services were conducted from the Milroy Funeral Home on Monday, January 3, 1983, with the Rev. Melville Buttars conducting the service. Cobourg Daily Star, Jan. 5, 1983.
